We'll know tomorrow ;)

Early spring or more winter? Will he see his shadow tomorrow or not? Here in Ohio we have Buckeye Chuck, PA has the famous Punxatawney Phil and I learned yesterday that WI has Jimmy the Groundhog. I don't know how or even when this bit of folklore started but it's a fun way to brighten up what can be the long, dreary part of winter. We've been blessed this year with milder temps, lighter snowfall amounts with January thaws in between and even some sunny days. As someone who is basically solar powered here's a first for me. Tomorrow I'm hoping for clouds. Wishing you a cloudy Happy Groundhog Day!!

  1. Hi Mo,
I can't complain about our winter either...or should I say lack of winter.

    How's your cross stitch coming?

    Enjoy your day,

  2. Our groundhog ... who lives underneath a little grouping of trees in our front yard ... has been roaming around for a couple weeks now. I don't think the poor thing got much sleep at all this winter! Blessings, Shirlee

  3. Easy winter this year here in KC. Hope it doesn't mean more buggies in my gardens this year though!
    Blessings
